Some of my greatest inspirations come from my life as a
wife, mom, and friend. I have been
married to my high school sweetheart, best friend, and blog master (as he likes
to call himself) for a little over 17 years. We’ve been together a total of 21 years so the husband now jokes that
our relationship is of legal age. Ha!
We have two amazing, brilliant, funny,
loving, and sweet children. Isaiah is
our oldest and is our pride and joy and Lexi is our little one and she’s our
source of laughter and fun. They’re both
incredible gifts from God and we are so blessed to be their parents.
I am a certified interior decorator but I’ve
never actually made any money from decorating because I often work for friends or
neighbors and just don’t want to charge them.
I have so much fun doing it, it almost seems wrong to get paid! I sing
on the praise and worship team for my church on the weekend and for the women’s
ministry during the week. Praising Jesus
through song is definitely my calling and my joy! Someone once said, “Don’t be afraid to go out
on a limb. It’s where all the fruit is.”
And with that in mind, I began this blog.
